Ulf, who has a BSc in Business Administration from Lund University, works as a consultant for his own company, IGO Affärs- och kompetensutveckling AB.

He has a broad marketing and sales background built up from working in several different industries where he held a number of senior posts at group and company level. In the last few years Ulf has completed several different assignments for the Böhler-Uddeholm Group, including establishing a Global Accounts unit.

“I know Ulf well from projects dating from my time at both Uddeholm and SSAB. I’m convinced that his long experience, sound market skills and seniority make him perfect for this job. Ulf will bring a lot to Group Management and the other key people he'll be working with,” says President and CEO Bengt Nilsson.

Ulf Gyllenholm formally assumes his post on 1 November, succeeding Fred Wennang who is leaving the company.
