Purchasing and our Purchasing Policy
Purchasing at the Åkers Group is an intimate part of our production process. Following a strict policy, we are responsible for acquiring everything from the raw materials needed for making rolls, to the parts and services required to keep our manufacturing facilities running properly.

 

To assure that we achieve our task, we follow four simple, guiding principals:
The goods and services delivered shall:

Supplier pre-evaluation
We follow a strict evaluation program which helps us to ensure that only those companies with a proven track record and high quality standards deliver their products and services to us in accordance with our procurement policy.

The Åkers evaluation process is the responsibility of our purchasing department often working in close cooperation with our production and quality control departments.
