Machining
Each one of our plants is equipped with a complete set of machines which ensure that we can produce rolls that match the precise geometrical specifications requested by the customer.

The machining phase is carried out in a number of exacting phases beginning with rough machining. This is typically done on a heavy-duty lathe which can cut chips that are several centimeters wide. An alternative method is rough grinding.
The next step is the final turning which is done on a CNC lathe.

Grooves and holes are made to requirement on milling machines while spade ends are created in special milling machines that cut both sides at the same time ensuring that they are perfectly parallel.

The final operation is grinding which is done on all surfaces that require high tolerances or when there are specific requirements for surface roughness.
