Forged bars and ingots
At our Thionville plant in northern France we make carbon, low alloy and tool steel bars for the world market. With an annual capacity of approximately 40,000 tons, we can produce round, square, rectangular and polygonal bars for a number of different uses and in varying sizes.

 

Bars can be annealed, normalized or heat-treated to specific mechanical properties and all our products are ultrasonically tested.

 

Form:

Round, square, rectangular and polygonal.

Size range: 300 mm (12 inches) up to 1200 mm (48 inches) in diameter or width and up to 17meters (56 feet) in length.

Properties: Annealed, normalized or heat-treated to specific mechanical properties. Ultrasonically tested

Surface: Black or rough machined

Sales is handled by our Thionville plant.
