Covering a wide variety of needs We supply rolls to some of the world’s leading aluminum mills. We were the first roll manufacturer to introduce the 5% Cr semi HSS grade with considerably improved performance for the hot mill process and the fact that we have our own ESR installation gives us full control over the entire production chain for this quality. Our range includes work rolls and back up rolls for hot roughing, reversing and tandem rolls, cold breakdown rolls, finishing rolls and foil rolls.
Manufacturing
The forged ingots used in the manufacturing of these rolls are mostly made at our plant in Thionville, France where machining is also done for rolls larger than 12 tons. Heat treatment and the machining of rolls below 12 tons is carried out at our plant in Fraisses, France and occasionally in Ravne, Slovenia or Söderfors, Sweden.
Product data sheets containing detailed information for each individual grade can also be downloaded as a pdf file.
