A primary market segment The Åkers Group has been producing double poured work rolls for use in plate mills for many years. Annual output averages 100 units that are manufactured at our facilities in Åkers Styckebruk, Sweden and Sedan, France.
We can supply a variety of different roll grades ranging from conventional ICDP to sophisticated chrome iron and chrome steel grades that are widely used by plate mills all over the world. We also produce smaller rolls for use in light plate mills as well as very large and heavy rolls for use in ultra heavy plate mills.
