Union Electric Steel Corporation, founded in 1923, and headquartered in Carnegie, Pennsylvania, is recognized as one of the world’s largest, fully integrated producers of forged hardened steel, cast iron, and cast steel rolls for the ferrous and non-ferrous rolling industries.

Specializing in forged roll production and technology since 1930 has made Union Electric Steel a recognized global leader in the roll industry.

Our Carnegie facility, which began producing forged hardened steel rolls in 1927, is today a heat treatment and finish machining plant.
